WINVN and Trumpet Newsreader are both great programs, yet they both lack
threads following. Trumpet doesn't provide a search option.
Still looking for the perfect Newsreader.

Subject: WinSock and Video capture ?
Hi,
Recently, I write a program to capture a video frame by VFWSDK, and
send it to the other PC by WinSock (SuperTcp). But, I found a big problem
: When Video is opened, video data can not be sent out immediately.
It is put in buffer. After close video and send another video frame,
then the queued data is sent. Is there a problem between network and
video capture card ? Thank you very much for your any suggestion !
[Detail Video]
VIDEO_EXTERNIN and VIDEO_IN channels are opened.
Initial VIDEO_EXTERNIN stream.
Capture frame by videoFrame() function.

Never had a problem under Windoze. But the program crashes NT (yes,
the whole system goes down!) horribly.

Why don't you start Trumpet Winsock as first application in the
"Autostart" (sorry, don't know how this group is called in the
international window versions) group as iconic?

Subject: questions re closesocket(), shutdown(), etc
When talking to the other side and you receive an error saying the
connection was reset by peer, do you still need to shutdown and/or close
the socket? How about if the connection is closed by the other side? I've
read the spec and can't find anything definitive. Is it stack dependent?
Thanks,
Ed
